Ultrasound Scanning or Sonography

Ultrasound scanning, also called sonography, is a diagnostic technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create an image of the inside of the body in real-time. Echoes of the transmitted sound waves are recorded and analyzed in real time by a computer. The images are displayed on a computer screen.
