Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanner

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a type of non-invasive diagnostic medical imaging that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the inside of the body. The MRI scanner is a large tube in which the patient is positioned that contains the powerful magnets required.
