Cerebrum

The part of the brain that includes the cerebral cortex and several subcortical structures, including the hippocampus, basal ganglia, and olfactory bulb. It consists of paired hemispheres separated by a fissure. The cerebrum is the region responsible for the integration of complex sensory and neural functions including thought, emotion, reason, sensation and voluntary movement.
