Superior Orbital Fissure

A cleft at the apex of the orbit that lies between the lesser and greater wings of the sphenoid bone. It typically 20-24 mm in length and contains the superior ophthalmic vein, the lacrimal nerve, frontal nerve, trochlear nerve, abducent nerve, oculomotor nerve, and nasociliary nerve.
